Elementor: Remove the page titles

Sometimes when you publish a page you will notice that there is a huge page title in the top left hand corner (or somewhere else depending on the theme you are using). There are a couple of ways to remove the page title depending on why it appears there to begin with.

The first way to remove the page title is to use the “Elementor Canvas” page layout, rather than the default page layout. In order to change this:

  1. Go to the page you want to edit
  2. Go into edit mode
  3. Click on the settings icon in the bottom left hand corner of the Elementor panel
  4. In the “Page Layout” dropdown, select “Elementor Canvas”
  5. Click “Update” to apply the changes (you may have to refresh the page to see the changes)

Selecting the Elementor canvas will allow you to create the page from scratch without any of the default headers and footers that your theme applies to the page.

Another way to remove the page title, if you don’t want to use the canvas page layout is to do the following:

  1. Go to the page you want to edit
  2. Go into edit mode
  3. Click on the settings icon in the bottom left hand corner of the Elementor panel
  4. Near the bottom of the panel you’ll see the “Hide Title” toggle
  5. Set the toggle to “Off”

The page title will now be removed however keep in mind that if you are not using the Elementor canvas page layout (see above) then you may have a blank section at the top which is reserved for the page title, even though the page title doesn’t appear anymore.
